FAQ

What happens if my jewellery breaks?

We stress test and inspect each weld to ensure the jewellery has fused correctly. In the unlikely event your weld becomes compromised, keep the chain safe, contact us and we will happily inspect. Re-welding can be carried out for a small fee.

What if I need to remove my jewellery?

If you need to remove your item, it can easily be taken off by snipping at the weld site. If you'd like your piece back on we can re-weld for a small fee.

Can the jewellery be returned?

Permanent jewellery cannot be returned. We do not offer refunds as each piece is measured and cut for the perfect fit.

What is gold filled?

Gold filled is created by mechanically bonding a layer of gold to a layer of base metal using heat and pressure. This is a permanent bond so the gold won't flake, peel or fall off. By law, the total weight of a gold filled item must contain 5% of gold. This material is of much higher quality than gold plated but a more affordable alternative to solid gold. Unlike gold plated, gold filled is tarnish free under normal conditions and can last a lifetime if taken care of properly. Despite gold's desirable properties, a significant drawback is its softness. Mixing gold with another metal creates gold filled that is stronger more durable and better suited for jewellery use.
